Finding Heavenly Mother: Falling Asleep
What do you think?
When you are about to sleep
Only moments from losing your conscious self -
And the cares of this world slip,
Into a compartment reserved for another day?
Do you find a glimpse through the veil?
A shadow of movement or a whisper of thought
Not in any earthly language
Yet perfectcly understoood -
As the crooning of a Heavenly Mother,
The advice of a Heavenly Father,
Or do you glimpse a view,
Looking out
From a Heavenly Home?

This is a lovely, thought-provoking poem. What a peaceful way to end my day. Thank you. And the images you chose to accompany it are lovely, too. I think my favorite lines may be, "...the cares of this world slip / into a compartment reserved for another day." Thank you.
